I saw an interesting show on the liberty ships several years ago. They had one hell of a process set up where they had the components assembled in different parts of the shipyard then at the end they would assemble the parts together like building blocks.

Yes Martin that is some feat, according to the reference page it as set about because one of the other Ship yards had built one in ten days, when asked if they could build one faster, they replayed that it would have been eight days, had they not had to delay the build so that the President could attend the launching.

I can’t wait to see what you’re going to do. The liberty ships are one of my favorite vessels of all time and were more important than the battleship’s I might add.
